We renovated a rental apartment in Dahlem between two tenancies. The floors were stripped back and re-levelled with self-levelling screed, giving a continuously flat substrate for the later floor covering. Walls and ceilings were filled, cracks reinforced and painted white; door frames and radiator niches received a fresh lacquer build-up. All adjoining surfaces were masked and covered, and the flat was handed over broom-clean.
